Bjørn Egge.

For many Overlanding is a hobby,  but for Egge_Overland it's a true lifestyle !

For the past 4 years he has been out overlanding every single weekend, holiday and free time in Norway, Finnland, Sweden and Iceland!

His travel experiences is preparing him for bigger trips to Alaska, Canada and Greenland!

His car has it all, whether it is for recovery, or cooking or taking a shower, and he will also be going back to Iceland for 1 month soon to enjoy it all ! His Overlanding rigg and trips has been in many magazines, - local and abroad, and he will also have a lecture at Camp Villmark in Norway before coming to Nordic Expo and speaking about his special Overlanding life.

Bush Welding Demo

Kjell Cato Øglænd that is a former industry welder, will demonstrate how you can bush weld for emergency purposes with 3 car batteries - 12V in series. 


If you are over the age of 15, there will be opportunities to learn and try for your self.

Is located in Solbergmoen near Drammen and we are probably the leading vehicle conversion company in the world – specializing on utility, expedition and overlanding. We will take you through our history and give you the experience of our facilities in Norway.

Mike Herbert
Founder of Dreki Adventures.

Born in England in 1956 but has lived in Norway for the past 30 years.
Since 1995, he has visited Iceland numerous times with specially modified vehicles,
gaining extensive experience in driving on glaciers and navigating the country's
harsh terrain. He has visited nearly all parts of Iceland at various times of the year.
Fascinated by volcanos he has visited several during recent eruptions in Iceland.
He currently drives a unique 6x6 AT44 Toyota Hilux, and a Toyota Land cruiser.

A keen motor cyclist he also has a Ducati Streetfighter.
He loves the outdoors, especially when the journey takes him to remote places with
snow and ice.
In his many adventures he has also journeyed to Antarctica to participate in a joint
Russian-Icelandic expedition, driving over 3,500 kilometres to establish a fuel depot
at 83° South, and recce an DC3 Basler plane crash site. This was a memorable
adventure, through unexplored regions, in two Toyota Hilux´s modified by Arctic
Trucks (AT) in Iceland.
In addition he has driven his 6x6 in Greenland, and explored much of Norway
including Svalbard.
When not dodging crevasses or volcanoes, he enjoys skiing, walking, and
photography. A keen Drone pilot for many years his photography, now utilises the
special perspective you get from drone based cameras.

First Response Medical

Ingebrigt Polden has his background from the army, ambulance service and the private security industry.

He has instructed tactical medicine internationally since 2009. In 2016 he was one of the founders of First Response Medical. FRM has provided training courses and casualty simulation services to the professional market, from civilian first aid courses to tactical medicine courses for SWAT teams in the US.

The company core is hands on scenario training with a focus on realistic casualy simulation.

For Nordic Expo we will hold a civilian first aid workshop lecture with emphasis on basic practical skills and life saving interventions.

No previous experience required.
